From the enquiries and rental deals in which I have been involved, I have noticed the following: -
From April until October 2022, most enquiries were from Russian citizens relocating from Russia. They were focusing on the luxury offered at Palm Jumeirah and the sea views and beach club access.
Since November 2022, most of my enquiries have been from British citizens “escaping the inflation, increased interest rates and political problems” being experienced in the United Kingdom.
The shortage of vacant apartments being available to new tenants is resulting in rents still increasing.
